Lynx Point Siamese cats are a unique variant of the royal Siamese family. They have a captivating blend of tabby-striped patterns that sets them apart from other color points. They are also called Tabby Points Siamese cats in some countries.
They are known as Lynx Points because their beautiful markings are similar to the Wild Lynx. However, they have no relation to the wild lynx. They have come from crossbreeding a Pure Bred Seal Point with a tabby cat. The kitten that was born was again crossbred with Pure Bred Seal Point. That results in the first Seal Lynx point or Seal Tabby point.
The American Cat Fanciers’ Association recognized such types of cats as lynx colorpoint shorthair and the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy in the U.K. recognized them as Tabby Points. So, Lynx Colorpoint shorthair is the Tabby Point Siamese cat.
Today, we’ll discuss all the details of Lynx Point Siamese Cats. At Siamese Cat World, we’re passionate about discussing this beautiful and unique breed of Siamese cats.

The “M”-shaped marking on the forehead of Lynx Point Siamese is also because of this gene.
